Winter 2011/Spring 2012 – Sales and Marketing efforts begin.
May 2014 - Gigi launches Travel Experiences by offering trips to the French Open. Other trips have included Indian Wells Paribas Open, Cancun Tennis Experience and Puerto Rico cultural experience.
January 2014 - Gigi secures sponsorships for MDWG clinics from Ameriprise Financial as a Lead Sponsor, as well as Wilson and Stamford Lincoln/Ford
June 2015 – After attending numerous clinics throughout the country and witnessing the need for high level doubles instruction, Gigi decides she needs to become more vocal about doubles instruction.
July 2015 – Gigi leverages the Freelancer.com community to develop the Master Doubles with Gigi logo, Redesign Collateral Materials and design and launch Master Doubles with Gigi Website www.masterdoubles.com
Summer 2015 – USTA Commercial featuring Gigi and her kids and promoting Youth Tennis and participation among Hispanic hits the waves. See the commercial here.
September 2015 – While attending the USPTA National Convention, Gigi hears world renowned nutrition & fitness expert, best selling author, television personality, and speaker, Marc MacDonald deliver a speech about “Growing your Brand”. She decides to share her knowledge of doubles with the entire world.
October 2015 – Gigi begins to write The Gigi Method Manual.
October 2015 – Gigi Presents The Gigi Method for the first time at The Tennis Congress. It is exceedingly well received.
February/March 2016 – Gigi speaks at various USPTA Regional Conventions about the Gigi Method (San Diego, Texas, New England) Conference attendees love the content and concepts delivered.
March 2016 – Gigi collaborates with Joel Drucker to edit The Gigi Method. Tennis Express becomes a sponsor.
June 2016 – First Doubles Boot Camp with Dr. Mark Kovacs takes place at Chelsea Piers, CT. First time Gigi delivers the entire Gigi Method to a group of tennis enthusiast. Event is a huge success.
July 2016- Gigi engages Octagon to help expand Gigi’s vision for the Company. The company name is changed from Master Doubles with Gigi to Gigi Fernandez Tennis. (GFTC) New collateral materials are created.
August 2016 – GFTC hires Patty Gordon as Director of Sales and Marketing to help grow the company.
September 2016 - Head/Penn replaces Wilson as a sponsor.
November 2016 – Gigi partners with Fuzzy Yellow Balls to offer the Gigi Method on video. Shoot takes place at Chelsea Piers in Stamford, CT.
December 2016 - First coaches workshop certifying coaches in the Gigi Method offered in San Juan, PR.
February 2017 - Gigi becomes the coach of the New York Empire World Team Tennis Team
March 2017 - The Gigi Method app and videos are released.
April 2017 - Gigi Partners with Grand Slam Tennis Tours to provide travel experiences to the Grand Slams with Gigi hosting the participants. 22 people sign up to go to Wimbledon
May 2017 - Over 2,000 people buy the Gigi Method through FYB Online platform. It converts at the highest rate of any product FYB has ever sold
June 2017 - 22 people have a grand time at the grandest Grand Slam of them all...Wimbledon
July 2017 - The Empire team finishes the season in third place marking the biggest turnaround in franchise history, from a previous last place finish.
August 2017 - Gigi continues to share her knowledge and passion for doubles with 14 appearances in 16 days during the US Open.
September 2017 - Gigi named one of the ambassadors to the Net Generation Brand. Attends Net Generation events in South Street Seaport, Arthur Ashe Kids Day and Cary Leeds Center.
September 2017 - Doubles.TV, a one-of-a-kind online learning platform for doubles, launches.
October 2017 - Gigi attends the Tennis Congress as faculty for the 3rd straight year and attends a Net Generation event in Atlanta, GA.
